GENERAL MANAGER'S MESSAGE
 Dear Guests and Friends of Sandy Lane,
Warm and sincere greetings from the entire team! As we approach the end of a busy winter it has been a true pleasure to welcome back so many familiar faces to Sandy Lane.
A highlight of this New Year has been the appointment of our new Culinary Director, Grant MacPherson. Grant has joined us, bringing a wealth of experience from some of the leading hotel kitchens of Las Vegas, Singapore and Malaysia.
As well as further improving our culinary offerings, we are delighted to announce that Grant is currently overseeing the planning and design of an exciting and extensive refurbishment project within the Bajan Blue Restaurant. The project will be undertaken during the month of September and there will be a completely new multi-cultural restaurant showcasing a new private dining room, live lobster tank, action cooking stations, and more when the restaurant opens in October.
We continually strive to improve all aspects of the Sandy Lane experience and take this opportunity to inform you of a number of other enhancements that will be undertaken around the resort. These will include refurbishment in our rooms and re-furnishing of many of our public spaces.
At the Spa, we recently welcomed Jo Bullock as our new Spa Director. Jo’s background in the management of a number of Luxury Spas around the globe is complemented by an excellent background in the formal teaching and training of her discipline. You can read more about Jo’s planned improvements in this newsletter.
Also new to the team is Naomi Powell who joins us as Head Concierge. Naomi will be a focal point of the lobby overseeing the Concierge team, assisting with all arrangements that our guests may require. Please join us in welcoming all these new faces to our Sandy Lane team.
In March we celebrated the 7th anniversary of the re-opening of Sandy Lane. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all at Sandy Lane to thank you all for your patronage and loyal support over the years, in particular to those whom continue to return time and time again, many making several trips each year.
We very much welcome your feedback and will include wherever possible your suggestions for even further improvements to the product and service, as we aim to further improve on our successes. As we approach an exciting summer season ahead, we all look forward to welcoming you back to Sandy Lane very soon.
