NEWS FROM THE SPA AT SANDY LANE
Sandy Lane has been voted runner up in the Best Caribbean Spa category by readers of Condé Nast Traveller. The fifth annual Readers’ Spa Awards, sponsored by ESPA, was held at the Mandarin Oriental, Knightsbridge, London on February 4th, 2008. Last fall, Conde Nast Traveller invited the public - to visit their website and nominate their favourite spas in 10 categories, and rate each spa according to a number of criteria.

The fitness facility at the Spa is also pleased to announce the arrival of new Life Fitness equipment including treadmills, cross trainers, recumbent bikes a hip abductor and an abdominal bench.
SUMMER SPA PICK
On your next Sandy Lane holiday, may we recommend the Thai massage with herbal ball?
This healing art calms and balances using rhythmical compressions on acupressure points and flowing yoga style stretches, traditionally performed on a floor mat. A steaming herbal ball compress is applied to aid the release of the last traces of muscular tension.
