Sandy Lane Voted “Best Hotel in the Caribbean” at the ULTRAs

9 May 2007…/Sandy Lane is delighted to announce that it has been voted the Best Hotel in the Caribbean by readers of Ultratravel, the 500,000 circulation magazine published by The Daily Telegraph, the UK's best selling upmarket daily newspaper. Rae Feather of Sandy Lane was presented with the ULTRA - the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Award - at a gala lunch at the InterContinental London Park Lane on May 9th.

Sponsored by MasterCard, the ULTRAs lunch was attended by more than 500 people, including a number of celebrities who are ambassadors for CLIC Sargent, the children's cancer charity which Ultratravel is involved in raising funds for.

Readers of Ultratravel voted in 20 categories to find the Ultratravel100. ULTRAs - the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards - are presented to those voted the best in their category. The Ultratravel100 will be published in the May issue of the magazine.
