A 47,000 square foot homage to wellness, the Spa at Sandy Lane boasts 14 lavishly appointed treatment suites, including three specialty suites, and a wide selection of treatments from all over the world. Here are a few important things to note whilst enjoying the Spa at Sandy Lane.
Spa Etiquette
You do have a choice of male or female therapist. Please indicate your preference to the receptionists; however, we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular therapist. All of our therapists are trained to provide the highest standard of treatments. Please be advised that no inappropriate behaviour or requests will be tolerated.
Yes, there is a cancellation policy. Cancellations are accepted up to four (4) hours prior to the start of your appointment without incurring a charge. Should the appointment be cancelled with less than four (4) hours’ notice, you will be charged 50% of the treatment price. If you fail to show up for your treatment altogether, you will be charged in full. For non-resident guests, credit card details and a contact phone number are required when making spa bookings.
We recommend you arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to change and take full advantage of our facilities. Appointments begin promptly at the time scheduled. Should you arrive late, your appointment will be shortened to allow the therapist to be on time for the next appointment.
We kindly request that guests arrive suitably attired for The Spa. A robe and slippers will be provided in your locker, as well as (optional) disposable underwear for your comfort. Bare backs and/or bare feet are not permitted in public areas. For Thai massage, we provide loose-fitting Thai robes for you to wear, though you are welcome to wear your own loose-fitted clothing if you prefer. Guests booked for a self-tanning treatment are also invited to wear your own swimsuit. Alternatively, disposable undergarments are on hand for your comfort.
The Spa is exclusively available to Resident Hotel Guests throughout the year. However, we do offer limited availability for Non-Resident Guests wishing to book treatments or spa days, during certain times of the year. We recommend enquiring with our Spa Team directly should you wish to visit as a Non-Resident.
The Spa is an adult environment only. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the Fitness Centre or the Spa Facilities.
We are delighted to welcome guests to relax, recharge and rejuvenate in our Relaxation Room before their scheduled appointment. We kindly request that all phones and devices be switched to silent and that persons step outside when receiving calls in an effort to minimize disruption to you and other guests while enjoying the experiences of the Relaxation Room.
Please advise our receptionist at the time of booking if you have any special needs, allergies and ailments, especially if you have high blood pressure or if you are pregnant. Also communicate with your therapist to ensure your satisfaction. This enables them to customise your service to fit your needs.
